Council Tax Scam

East Lindsey District Council/Boston Borough Council/South Holland District Council is aware of a possible scam in operation.  Scammers may call you pretending to be the council and tell you that you’re due a council tax refund.  Remember – if the Council needs to contact you about your Council Tax, you’ll receive a letter in the post about it, including your personal Council Tax Number.  If you receive a phone call without such details, stay vigilant – it’s a scam attempt!
