Could this be you? - We are recruiting for Independent Panel Members of Police Misconduct Hearings.

We are undertaking rolling recruitments for Independent Panel Members (IMP) of Police Misconduct Hearings.

We are looking to appoint a number of individuals who will sit on police misconduct panels held in Lincolnshire.  However they will also have the opportunity to sit on panels across the East Midlands region. They will assist misconduct panels in coming to fair and evidence-based decisions about a particular officer’s conduct and appropriate outcomes arising from those decisions.

Further, we require individuals to provide an independent and impartial voice on such panels and to provide assurance to the community that conduct matters are treated seriously and that misconduct proceedings are being properly investigated and adjudicated.

The Independent Panel Member role does not require legal expertise but will benefit from people who have experience in either senior leadership, legal work, professional standards, and/or HR and people management.  The role is voluntary on a part time basis.
