Lincolnshire Strong Voices

Good Afternoon,

I am writing to you to explain a little bit about Lincolnshire Strong Voices as we are currently recruiting for new members to join.

If you know of a youth group or perhaps you have a relative who you think would be interested in joining Lincolnshire Strong Voices (LSV), please could you share this information with them?

It is important that we are giving the young people in Lincolnshire a platform to talk and discuss issues and concerns where they live, and to be the facilitators to help implement real change in the community!

Created by The Lincolnshire Office of Police and Crime Commissioner and facilitated by the Safer Together Team, Lincolnshire Strong Voices is a space for young people aged 11-21 to raise issues and concerns about where they live and influence real change.

Through Lincolnshire Strong Voices, we aim to give young people the platform to:

  • raise policing and crime issues in their communities
  • challenge and inform the work of the Police and Crime Commissioner
  • challenge and inform the work of Lincolnshire Police
  • help make their communities feel and be even safer
  •

Our group meet on the second Wednesday of every month and participate in activities to build on the aims of their work.

We are looking for 11 - 21 year olds in Lincolnshire who want to use their voices and work together to make positive changes where they live.

This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to  support, challenge and voice young people’s opinions, and say what they would change.
