Misinformation surrounding so-called 'school wars' in Lincolnshire

We are aware of rumours currently circulating about so‑called ‘school wars’ in Lincoln and other areas in Lincolnshire.

We want to reassure you that there is no evidence to suggest these claims are true. However, we understand that such rumours can cause concern, and we are actively monitoring the situation.

We are working closely with schools and their safeguarding leads, and at this time there is nothing to indicate that any incidents of this nature are taking place.

To offer additional reassurance for parents, students, and the wider community, we will have extra patrols around schools and local parks.

It’s important to highlight that similar misinformation has been seen in other parts of the country and appears to stem from social media and which appears to be spreading false or misleading information.
