Incidents of Note

Death of Danny Fowler in Market Rasen. On the 12th of March 2026, Danny Fowler was found on Union Street and had died from his injuries sustained from multiple stab wounds. 4 people have since been charged in connection with this. Enquiries are ongoing. We are aware that privately owned CCTV footage relating to this incident is being circulated on social media. This material has not come from any public service organisation.

Sharing this footage poses a serious risk to the integrity of our active investigation and causes further distress to the victim’s grieving family.We are deeply concerned by the circulation of this footage and urge anyone who has shared or engaged with it to stop immediately, out of respect for the family and to protect the investigation.

Community Meeting at Market Rasen. On the 16 March 2026, a community Meeting took place at the Festival Hall Market Rasen so members of the public could voice concerns around the recent events. A further meeting will take place on the 23 April at 19:00 at the Festival Hall. I would like to pass on a personal thank you for those that attended the meeting on the 16 March, off the back of this meeting intelligence submissions have increased and plans are in place to tackle the issues raised.

Please continue to encourage others to sign up to Lincs Alert. This is a key tool for passing updates and has already provided police with significant CCTV enquires around stolen motor vehicles as it allows members of the public to reply to messages sent.
