In previous correspondence, I shared the Chief Constable’s message regarding the redeployment of officers from certain departments to support force‑critical roles. As a result of this wider operational requirement, West Lindsey Neighbourhood Policing will see the temporary redeployment of one officer between January and June. From July through to January, this will increase to two officers, reflecting the continued need to prioritise policing demand across the force.

Incidents of Note

Mia Mcilwee, 40, of Dixon Place, Dunholme, has been charged with attempted murder following an incident where a man was discovered with a suspected stab wound at a property in Dunholme on Wednesday 1 April. You can read the full press release here: Serious assault, Dunholme | Lincolnshire Police

On Friday 3 April, we received reports of a fire at All Season Florist, Lord Street, Gainsborough. This is believed to be a suspected arson. The investigation into this is ongoing. There is believed to be no wider risk to businesses located within Gainsborough.

A community meeting is scheduled to take place at the Festival Hall, Market Rasen on the 23 April at 7pm.

This is a key tool for passing updates and has already provided police with significant CCTV enquires around stolen motor vehicles as it allows members of the public to reply to messages sent.
