Local Priorities Burglary - Residential Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Burglary - Residential, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Police incident 492 10/01/2026 report of suspicious male trying dwelling doors on MILL LANE, SAXILBY. Lincolnshire Police have received several reports relating to similar circumstances in the area yesterday. The offender was reported to be male and was using a stolen vehicle, later found abandoned in the NEWARK area. Please be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour directly to Lincolnshire Police. We urge just to remember that indications are this was an opportunist trying their luck in order to find an insecure property, there are no reports indicating an attempt of force entry was attempted. Bearing this in mind, please remember to check your property is secure before you go to bed. Be safe and take care.
