A man from Derbyshire has been charged and remanded into prison after he is reported to have maliciously caused grievous bodily harm to a 25-year-old woman during an altercation at a premises in Skegness.
Callum Arboine, 27, of Ridgedale View, Ripley appeared before Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 18 April charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A (cocaine and heroin).
At around 8.15pm on Monday 13 April, officers were called to a report of a woman having been in an altercation with a man at a premises on Gloucester Close, Skegness. The suspect is alleged to have thrown a kettle of boiling water over her causing significant injuries to her face and upper body. The woman remains in hospital.
Multiple lines of enquiry and a public appeal were launched to locate the suspect. Arboine was arrested on Friday 17 April. He is due to appear at Lincoln Crown Court in May. | ||
