Appeal following serious assault in Mablethorpe

We have arrested a man in his 20s after another man was seriously assaulted in Mablethorpe yesterday.

The Force Control Room (FCR) received a call at 2.10am on Sunday 26 April reporting a serious assault on Wellington Road. Officers attended and discovered a man in his 20s with suspected stab wounds. He was taken to hospital for his injuries.  

A 27-year-old man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released on police bail with conditions while investigations continue.
