Motorbikes seized in Gainsborough

We have seized two motorbikes involved in Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in Gainsborough.

Officers were alerted just before 9.30pm on Sunday 21 June of multiple motorbikes riding at speed around Lea Road.

Officers from Specialist Operations pursued both riders who eventually decamped and left one of the motorbikes, a white Yamaha XSR, near Stow Park Road.

Another motorbike (pictured), a Yamaha MT-07, was found abandoned by a member of public yesterday morning (Monday 22 June). It has since been recovered and will be returned to their owner.

Community Beat Manager PC Connor Brandwood said: “We know from reports and intelligence that these motorbikes have been involved in reports of ASB in the town over recent weeks, which led to proactive work in Armed Response Officers locating them.

“We’d like to thank the public for their help in reporting incidents of ASB to us.”
