We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage to contact us following a collision in Bracebridge Heath.
The incident was reported to us at 9.53am yesterday (Monday, 20 July). It happened in London Road, near to the John Bull pub, and involved a pedestrian and a black Ford Focus.
The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, was taken to hospital and suffered serious injuries.
We are also keen to speak to the driver of an orange Range Rover car who gave way to a vehicle coming out from Redhill Lane. This Range Rover was not involved in the collision, but the driver may have seen the incident and could assist our investigation.
