Plant machinery and vehicle theft warning |
||
|
We're reminding owners of plant machinery and vehicles to take extra precautions following an increase in thefts across Lincolnshire.
Criminals are continuing to target valuable plant equipment and vehicles, with Toyota Hilux and Nissan Navara models among those most frequently stolen.
If you own plant machinery, agricultural equipment, or commercial vehicles, please take steps to make them as secure as possible. This includes removing keys when not in use, using additional security devices, parking in secure locations, and considering tracking systems where appropriate.
We also encourage owners to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, particularly around farms, industrial sites, construction areas, and business premises. Information from the public can play a vital role in helping us identify offenders and prevent further thefts.
Anyone who notices suspicious behaviour or has information about vehicle or machinery thefts should contact us via 101. In an emergency, or if a crime is in progress, always call 999. | ||
