Staff from Mablethorpe Policing Team joined colleagues from Magna Vitae’s Station Leisure & Learning Centre at national awards ceremony.
Last week (Thursday 8 October), staff from the Mablethorpe Policing Team joined colleagues from Magna Vitae's Station Leisure & Learning Centre at the prestigious ukactive awards ceremony where the NexGen Magna Programme has been awarded ‘Highly Commended’, taking second place nationally in the Educational Programme of the year category.
The NexGen Programme supports young people aged 11 to 17 in Mablethorpe, helping them develop valuable life skills, build confidence, and enjoy the benefits of active, healthy lifestyles. Encouraging young people to stay active not only supports their physical health and wellbeing, but also helps build resilience, positive relationships and the confidence needed to thrive both now and in the future.
Its success demonstrates the powerful impact that can be achieved when organisations work together to invest in young people, creating opportunities that not only improve health and wellbeing but also help them reach their full potential.
This national recognition is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved. Congratulations to the dedicated staff, volunteers and partner organisations who make the programme possible, and most importantly to the young people whose enthusiasm and commitment continue to drive its success.
It is a remarkable accomplishment and one that the whole community can be incredibly proud of. What a fantastic achievement for Mablethorpe and a shining example of the difference that investing in young people's health, wellbeing and futures can make. | ||
